Responsibilities Perform clinical and administrative duties that assist in the delivery of effective patient care within assigned area Greet patients, escort them to exam room and perform vitals and other related MA duties Demonstrate knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty Adhere to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety Qualifications Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Must be a registered or nationally certified Medical Assistant or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
Credentials held by Medical Assistant must require a re-certification process on a regular basis Must maintain BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training in venipuncture Preferred Job Requirements Crossed trained in other clinical specialties:
Ob/Gyn, Neurology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
