This job is located at Lovelace Medical Group, a multispecialty provider group, which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care, and provides patients with exceptional health care through the support of Lovelace Health System hospitals and technology.
ResponsibilitiesMedical Assistant Job
Responsibilities:
Performs clinical and administrative duties that assist in the delivery of effective patient care within assigned area.
MA demonstrates knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty.
QualificationsMedical Assistant Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution preferred May be crossed trained in other clinical specialties:
Ob/Gyn, Neurology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine.
Must maintain BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training in venipuncture.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
