Responsibilities Work in an entry level position providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
Observe patients' progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
Qualifications Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must have BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer into position Preferred Job Requirements 1 year experience in acute or long-term care Working towards approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification Experience in Phlebotomy or completion of a Phlebotomy course Knowledge of medical terminology.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
