Mechanical Technician

THIS IS A RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY. POSITIONS ARE NOT LOCATED IN ROSWELL.
We have teamed up with one of the fast growing leaders in the Oil & Gas Industry. This is a great opportunity for Mechanical Technicians to join our team. Company benefits package includes: paid holidays, vacation, medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, and stock options. You can expect to work 12 hour shifts weekly on a rotating schedule.
Under close supervision, you will learn to participate in preventative maintenance and repair mechanical tools, sensors, equipment, and assemblies according to company standards, procedures and practices while following and adhering to the guidelines for safety and environmental compliance as well as being dedicated to company Quality Management and customer service. Attend other tech training and continue to build proficiency in their area of specialization under supervision.
Duties:
Test equipment in conformance with written procedures
Assemble and disassemble mechanical tools and related equipment
Identify component and assembly problems and propose solutions and write and correct procedures as required
Prepare reports on maintenance of mechanical tools and equipment as required
Provide training, advice, and assistance to other employees
Obtain drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) from engineering
Complete training modules for promotion to next career level
Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies
Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving)
Requirements:
High School Diploma AND an Associates Degree of Applied Science from a technical college or university.
Experience in oilfield environment preferred or worked as a MT in the military.
Applicant will be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment
Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
