Company benefits package includes: paid holidays, vacation, medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, and stock options. You can expect to work 12 hour shifts weekly on a rotating schedule.
Electronic Techs will repair and maintain electric, electronic, and computer based equipment according to company quality and safety standards. Comply with all governmental regulations, industry standards and observes all health, safety and environmental policies to reduce environmental impacts.
Repair and troubleshoot electrical, electronic and computer based equipment and systems located on trucks, in electronic shop and laboratory
Assist in mechanical technician in repairing electrical problems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on equipment and vehicles on location
Assist in training operating personnel and mechanics to troubleshoot electrical systems
Maintain parts inventory in electronics shop
Perform periodic maintenance on selected electronics equipment
Recommend improvements in electrical and electronic equipment in order to improve operating efficiency
Develop skills and knowledge in operating company equipment to enable electronic testing troubleshooting
Operate computers and technical software to calibrate electronic and computer equipment
Attend monthly safety and operations improvement meetings
Complete training modules for promotion to next career level
Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the district
Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies
Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving)
Requirements:
High School Diploma AND an Associates Degree of Applied Science from a technical college or university.
Experience as an Electronic Tech in oilfield environment preferred or worked as an ET in the military.
Applicant will be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment
Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
