Orginal Finish Martin Tenor Saxaphone for Sale - Opportunity for sale in Roswell, NM

1 of 1
For sale! In 1972, I was purchased from Ted Raven by Leo Whitten. He was aspiring to play pop music with a local band in Portales, NM. With encouragement from Ted, himself a jazz saxophonist from the 40's, Leo learned the falsetto octave, and was encouraged to get me fitted with resonator pads. Leo continued to practice until we became one. After we moved to Austin, TX, he worked and practiced, and we joined Kenny and the Jets. We were regulars at the Armadillo World Headquarters and Leo had mastered the falsetto octave. With my resonator pads, the Otto Link mouth piece, his skill and my heritage, we became regulars at all local venues. We made cameo appearances with stars, most notable were Willy Nelson and the Amazing Rhythm Aces. After Kenny and the Jets and the City Sharks, Leo started our own band, D'phile, and were about to end up in Nashville, when we were spotted by a talent scout. Alas, it was not to be, as Leo chose his family over a career. In a closet for many years, Leo wants to set me free so I can once again entertain and inspire others. Leo and I played yesterday and I'm still very mellow! PLEASE ADOPT ME! BEGINNERS NEED NOT APPLY!
